Our story
CycloChrome was founded in 2008 with a mission to prevent youth from dropping out of high school, and the mandate to repair Montreal's BIXI fleet.
The work-study program for CFMS students in bicycle maintenance assistance was created so that CycloChrome could offer the opportunity for youth who were at risk of dropping out to pursue this program of study and pursue a career central to 'Montreal's transportation infrastructure.
Since, CycloChrome continues to strive to highlight the essential nature of bike mechanic's work within Québec and Canada. The field which serves as a springboard for those on the path to obtaining their high school diploma should be one in which it is possible not only survive but thrive.
Our team can, within CycloChrome's walls, complete their high school studies, or obtain the prerequisites required to apply to professional programs.
